Job Title: Medical/Health Physicist
Status: Full time employee with benefits
Related Work Experience: 2+ years experience
Education Level: Master’s Degree required; ABMP, ABR, ABHP highly desirable
Salary: commensurate with education and experience
Services to be provided:
    • Acceptance/Accreditation Testing (CT, MR, Mammography, Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound)
    • Radioactive materials license development and renewals
    • Nuclear medicine physics audits and support
    • ACR accreditation testing
    • Sealed source leak testing
    • Shield designs
    • Area radiation surveys for shielding evaluation
    • Decommissioning surveys for NM facilities
    • Radiation safety surveys for administration of radioactive materials to patients
    • Occupational worker, patient and fetal dose calculations due to exposure of external or internal sources of radiation
Requirements:
    • Organization skills including the ability to prioritize workload
    • Analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
    • Able to meet deadlines, take initiative and work independently
    • Travel to client facilities (primarily in NC)
    • Proficient in MS Office
